Airbus A330 NEO

A330 NEO

In July 2014 Airbus launched its New Engine Option (NEO) for an Airbus A330. The aircraft will be a similar size to a Boeing 787-9 but with slightly less range. Benefiting from unbeatable economics, the A330 Neo reduces fuel consumption per seat by 14% compared to the A330. This is achieved with the addition of the Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engine. The A330neo will feature incremental innovations, including aerodynamic enhancements such as new A350 XWB inspired winglets, an increased wing span and new engine pylons
