EC-135

 

The EC-135 was designed to succeed the BO 105, a technology prototyped designated BO 108 made it's first flight on October 15, 1988. The design progressively improved and a pre production model with advanced Fenestron tail rotor flown on Febuary 15,1994. Two years later, deliveries began on July 31, 1996. A total of 449 have been delivered.
