First flown on July 27, 1972 and entered USAF service in 1974. The aircraft has been solf to Saudi Arabia, Israel and Japan. Last of 894 versions delivered in 1989. This twin engined aircraft comes with two P&W F100 turbofans which enables the F-15 to reach speeds of 2.7 Mach. It's thrust to weight ratio is very good at 0.75, weighing 60,000 Ibs.
