Aircraft Recognition for Pilots
Pilot may be expected to use aircraft recognition whilst flying. They need to be able to seperate aircraft apart.
For example, if Air Traffic Control talks to you as the pilot and says something like "Traffic alert, Cessna Citation Eleven O'clock low, Follow Citation and report when in sight" If you see two aircarft, which aircraft would you expect to report? This is where your trusty aircaft recognition skills come into it. If we were good at this skill you would be able to identify the correct aircraft and carry out the command.
